Helicat Pyrénées is an aerial work company specialising in helicopter lifting, aerial surveillance, LiDAR mapping and aerial support for firefighting. Based in the south of France, in Pyrénées-Orientales and Haute-Garonne, we work for professionals and local authorities from three bases, and throughout France thanks to our network of partners.

Support from planning to the final rotation
Each project begins with an assessment of your needs and the site constraints: access, loads to be transported, schedule and available ground space.
We then organise the operation: site reconnaissance, authorisation procedures with the DGAC and the prefecture, coordination with the site operator or the municipality, preparation of the ground team, and selection of a time slot suited to the weather.
You will have a single point of contact throughout the project, from the first discussion to the final rotation.
1
Three bases in the Pyrenees
Our operations rely on three bases: Perpignan–Rivesaltes Airport, La Llagonne altiport in Cerdagne, and Marignac, in the Luchon valley.
This presence places us as close as possible to worksites in the Pyrenees. In the mountains, it makes it easier to prepare operations and to take advantage of favourable weather windows, which can sometimes be short.
For worksites located elsewhere in France, we operate with the support of our network of partners and deploy the helicopter best suited to the needs of the operation.

2
Helicopters selected according to the load
AS350 Écureuil: up to 1,200 kg
Versatile and agile, the AS350 B3+ meets the needs of many worksites: transporting concrete, big bags, beams, construction equipment or drilling equipment.
H225: up to 4,500 kg
For heavier or bulkier loads, we can deploy an H225 with the support of our partners, notably for transporting turbines, masts or structural components.
The choice of aircraft depends on each operation: the load’s weight and dimensions, altitude, temperature, site conditions and the capacity available on the day of the operation.

3
Safety is prepared on the ground
Before each operation, we assess the site, obstacles, pick-up and drop-off zones, as well as the characteristics of the loads. On-site reconnaissance makes it possible to define the resources to be deployed and to prepare the ground team’s work.
On the day of the job, we check the weather conditions before starting rotations. If they do not allow us to operate under safe conditions, the operation is postponed.
Our aerial work operations are carried out under our specialised operations declaration FR.DEC.0204.

Shared expertise
Helicat Pyrénées draws on the experience of Hélittoral Hélicoptères, which also offers sightseeing flights, and that of Copter Club, which specialises in pilot training.
This organisation enables us to deploy helicopters, crews and bases according to the needs of each worksite.
